Make your appointmentA veneer can transform the look of your teeth by improving the colour and shape of your teeth. If your teeth are stained and discoloured, chipped or broken, worn, misaligned or if you have unsightly gaps between the teeth, veneers are an excellent option for correcting all these issues.
Veneers can provide uniform colouration and alignment of the teeth. They are used to fill in gaps in cases where dental braces are not an option. In short, a veneer is something of a miracle worker when it comes to making your teeth look whole and natural again.
Getting veneers fitted will require multiple appointments with your dentist to ensure the perfect fit. During your first appointment, your dentist will assess if veneers are a suitable option before discussing what is involved with the procedure. At this point, your dentist will also take an x-ray of your teeth to check that there are no underlying conditions that will prevent you from having veneers fitted.
After your initial appointment, your dentist will take an impression of your teeth to guarantee that your veneers will be a perfect fit. You may be fitted with temporary veneers whilst awaiting the permanents ones to protect your teeth once your dentist has prepared them.
We will always fully discuss with you all the possibilities and options before you make your decision on whether to have veneers and will advise on the best course of action to give you the best smile possible.
